Valley of Flowers in early June?
Hello,
I read that the best time to go starts mid-July. Unfortunarly, I'll have a few days at the beginning of June. What kind of weather can I expect and still waiting for the monsoon rain, will there be lots of flowers at this time of year? Thanks |

Beginning of June would be dry in that area. Dont expect any rainfall that time.. Places like Joshimath were actually hot during the daytime.. And again tha time of the year is the time when the chardham yatra just starts(last week of May). You can expect a lot of piligrims going to Hemkund sahib.. road strewed with Mule dropping... and a lot of haggling porters and self proffessed guides.
I dont think yo can find flowers at that time of the year.. The valley of flowers is also officially not opened by that time. You may still find snow there in patches.. |
