Trip to Kedarnath, Tungnath and Chandrashila

Had a nice oppurtunity this Deepawali to visit Kedarnath, Tungnath and Chandrashila and I must admit that Chandrashila is a place like I've never seen ever before. Just fantabulus For once I wanted to stay up there for ever but alas every journey has to come to an end. The weather was perfect and provided with ample oppurtunity to have plate full of view of magnificent Himalayas Will post the link to photographs once I reach home.

Ohhh and very happy and prosperous Deepawali to all IndiaMikers.

You went in Feb '08 or Oct '09? The time stamp of the pics on Picasa reads Feb '08?

Just curious, because in Feb, there should be snow at Tungnath/Chandrashilla etc..? Let me know...

Aaah almost everyone is confused by the dates... Well the reason for date being mentioned as Feb is due to my ignorance as I forgot to set date/time setting of my camera and it was default to Feb. 2008

I've just returned from the trip as I mentioned earlier in the thread and you are right in mentioning the fact that in month of Feb there would be snow up at Kedarnath and Tungnath/Chandrashila.
