Tehri Dam Visit

Hi all UK champs,

This is my first post to the great Indian IndiaMike.com website.
And I really needed it.
I am planning to visit Tehri Dam, next weekend. Can you guys, please guide me on conveyance availability from Rishikesh, GMVNL hotel and the pre-requisites (permission or any official walk-through) for the dam visit? I tried looking at the Google Maps, however, I could not really found out, or pin point the exact location, I have to reach.

Can you please help me?

I went to Badrinath in 2011 and saw Tehri Dam in the middle of the way. You may get a hotel near to this dam but not exactly here. What are you planning to see here?

Hi love007, even I visited Auli last year and saw it on my way. I have a love for Dams and Tehri being one of the fascinating, I would love to have an official walk through of the dam and knowledge about its uniqueness and vastness. Also, I would like to spend a day by dam side.

Where are all the champs? on vacations? ;-)
