Roorkee- Uttarakashi

Hi ,
I will reaching Roorkee around 8 AM (from Jammu no ther train available)..
Now I need to goto Uttarkashi .I want to know if their is a taxi stand or whats the best way to reach Uttarkashi ??

Should I goto Rishikesh Sumo stand and get the shared jeep or any other alternative available?

How to reach Rishikesh from Roorkee ?
Whats the best possible option since I have some luggage for trekking too..

loads of normal buses coming from delhi

Take a Pedal Rickshaw from roorkee Rly. Station to Roadways Bus stand for RS. 15/-

From there you will get buses to Haridwar/Rishikesh. Rishikesh buses are less frequent than Haridwar buses as Haridwar is served by UP, Uttaranchal, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Rajsthan & Chandigarh roadways buses but Rishikesh only by Uttaranchal buses.

From Haridwar you can take shared 3 wheelers to Rishikesh.
