Ramnagar to Nainital and local tours
Hi,
We are planning a trip to Nainital during September 25-30th. Got tickets till Ramnagar (kathgodam was unavailable). Wanted to know the following

1. No prepaidtaxies at Ramnagar.
2. Yes State Buses are there. they are OK. 3. You may contact Mahinder at 09411557092 4. Should be Rs. 800 perday.

We would reach out to Mahinder and work out the package. Can you recommend good places in and around Nainital (we have got swamped with too much information on the internet on what to visit) Looking at serene calm places that is good for photography also. Thanks! |

delhiwala i want to know about the hotel alka in the mall? How is it for 2 days stay in nainital which will better in binsar hotel CM resorts or khali resorts or kmvn for 2 days stay SG PRAKASH

Alka is bang on the mall facing the lake on Tallital side. Well maintained big hotel. Do not know about the serice.
In Binsar, KMVN is at the best location, next option would be Khali resorts. There is no electricity in both and runs on genset/solar power from evening to dinner time. Club Mahindra is around 10 Kms away from zero point. |

Dear SG PRAKASH,
Alka is good. They have a nice restaurant too. Their Alka Annexe has slightly lower priced rooms. Nothing beats KMVN in Binsar..... |

Hi delhiwalla and sriprakash thanks for your suggestions. Of course my binsar plans are only after march 10. How will be weatherwise viewwise in april/may. Will 2 days for binsar and 2 days for nainital be ok (Excluding travel) SG PRAKASH
