Rafting/Camping in Rishikesh

Hi Guys,

I am planning a Rishikesh 2day 1night trip with my better half on June 15. I will be leaving Friday night (June 15) from Delhi and reaching Saturday early morning i.e June 19 in Rishikesh.

I had a chat with bunch of camping organizations and below are the details :

Aquaterra Adventures:
~ 3900/person 2400/person
- 2 Rafting - 1 rafting
- Meals - Meals
Seems pretty expensive to me.

Wanderlust Adventures:~ 1750/person
- 1 Rafting[Shivpuri] (2000 with 2 rafting)
- Cliff Jumping
- Trekking
- Meals


Rendevous Adventures:~ 1600/person
- 1 Rafting
- Cliff Jumping
- Trekking
- Meals

I am really not sure which camp to opt and hence i would like an input from you guys on following parameters.

- Which camp? Riverside or Jungle
- Sanitation in camps? Are toilets clean enough to go.
- Pick and drop from rishikesh (No one is giving pick and drop from Rishikesh. Is it something i should ask from?).
- Which Rafting?(I heard that Kaudilya rafting has the Baap of rapids 'The Wall' but nothing other than that.)
- Should i book in advance or should i go there directly?
- any more cents you would like to add would be great.

Just go to mangotrip.com, and contact there, i had been last week and they organize very cheap, confer table and adventurous trip...

Can't find the site you mentioned. I could find mangotours.com and mangotrips.com but none of them seems relevant to rishikesh tour.

Thanks Sumant for all the help. But now i am not getting any response for them. Though, i had dropped a mail to them yesterday, yet waiting for a revert. Have contacted couple of more companies.. Lets see.

For information I would like to add that just rafting from Shivpuri to Ram Jhoola costs Rs 450/- and if you are staying around LakshmanJhoola area the price includes drop to Shivpuri. On the way the raft stops at jumping point for a short while.

You have to contact any travel agent in the Lakshman Jhoola/ High Bank area to organise the pick up.
