Quiet Forest place to stay for 2 days in November
Quiet Forest place to stay for 2 days in November
Hi,
I have received immense help from this site. Big Thanks.
I will be in Pilani, Rajasthan on November 17, Wednesday. From there till November 20, Saturday I am planning to spend some time in hill-station or some forest rest house. I would like to go to a place which is not much crowded but has some good landscapes. Would you suggest me one?
I can reach Delhi Nov 18 early morning (around 1 AM if required). From there I can plan for Dehradun (and thereby Mussoorie) or Nainital or somewhere near there.
I have been already to Shimla, Manali and Corbett National Park (though not stayed in Dhikala), would not prefer to go there again unless going there some great value in November.
Kindly help me to make a good plan.

Or maybe Dhanaulti? Beautiful place surrounded with forests and apple orchards. And very few tourists!!

there are so many forest rest houses in uttrakhand situated deep in side jungle. As you have mention nainital or dehradun . i have visited many of them in kumaun like one FRH is in place called mahesh khan near bhowali situated in Quiet place . you should try this
Without a doubt Binsar, stay at KMVN binsar. Not crowded and the forest is dense and beautiful.
May look at Kunjakharak near Nainital. It is in a thick forest and has a forest rest house too. Tourists rarely visit this place.

My suggestion would be "Karnv Ashram" 15 km deep in forest
from KOTDAWAR, with river and GMVN plus circuit House there. It is in foothill jungles of pouri hills and also near to Haridwar and Dehradoon.November temprature would be perfect to be there.Normally bookings are avilabel round the year.
