Smile Planning trip to Nainital during 1st week of July

Hello frnds,
I am planning for honeymoon tour from 1st july. My plan is:
3N(Nainital) Hotel Alka
2N(Kausani) Hotel Suman Grand and
1N(Ranikhet) KMVN mostly.

I am concerned about whether 2N @ Kausani and 1N Ranikhet is going to be worth or not? Can anyone plz suggest. Suggestions are most welcome.

3 Days for Nainital are good enough.. Your plan looks good if you dont want to change the places to visit. I would have said Binsar but this is not the right time to go there..

Thanks. KMVN @ Ranikhet is OK na? I heard KMVN is far away from center. Also suggest some good hotel for Kausani. I am looking for some good CAB service, can anyone suggest?

You can check the thread "Car rental in Kumaon" for cab services.

As for stay options at Kausani, I have been suggested KMVN (by one of the grand masters of Kumaon info - Dilliwala)

So, should I go with KMVN for Kausani as well as Ranikhet?

KMVN Kausani is quite good. In Ranikhet KMVN has a rest house at Chiliyanaula which is far from the town. There is another one which may be nearer.
Considering you are going for your honeymoon, your itinerary is good and relaxed and it should be so.
You may check out the Baijnath temples from Kausani which I think is around 18 kms away. They are quite good.
Thanks,
Deep

Always go for KMVN (or GMVN) as first option wherever you go, they have the best location. At Ranikhet, check in KMVN at mall road.

I am confused by your thoughts, would be interesting to see other IMers views. I would put it this way, is staying at any place worth? You have same mountains, same views, and same roads etc so why not just skip everything and stay back at home

Go to Ranikhet in my view. Visit the nearby fruit orchards and you will have some really fresh and tasty fruits to savour. See the Army golf course, just a good place to have a cup of tea and stroll around.
