Places to visit in Uttarakhand for 2 weeks in mid-August

Jim Corbett park has been closed for visitors keeping in view the approaching monsoon, as many monsoon rivers overflows during this part of the season which pass though the main road.
the night safaris are closed from 15th june and would only open after 15 Nov.. the day time travel would be closed on 7th July open only after 15th Oct

so if you are planning to visit the park during this time please don't plan about it as it is quite impossible going by legal ways..
other option to see wild life at this part of the world is to visit the outskirts as you can go to Ranikhet via Ramnagar and have a view of animals through the road,, more over you can also visit sitavani which is a hill top..

other parts of Uttarakhand is experincing heavy rainfall, so put some extra days in your itenary incase there is a road blockage....

Do you have any information regarding Jhirna in Corbett? i read that it will be open for jeep safari in August.

All the gates are closed during this part of the season for Corbett,, there would be no safaris available during monsoon season...

so do not keep Corbett in your Irtenanry...
instead you can opt for Munsyari... thats a nice place to visit...
