Hi,

I am planning to do Pangarchulla peak in the last week of December 2017. Anybody else willing is most welcome.

My itinerary is as follows-

25th Dec- Arrive at Joshimath.
26th Dec- Drive to Dhak (6956 ft). Trek to Gulling (9832 ft).
27th Dec- Trek from Gulling to Khullara (10492 ft).
28th Dec- Trek from Khullara to Gailgarh (12000 ft). Establish Advance Base Camp.
29th Dec- Gailgarh ABC to Pangarchulla summit (15100 ft). Return to Khullara.
30th Dec- Khullara to Joshimath.

I also like to ask others who have done Pangarchulla or Kuari Pass some info-

1. Between what times in the morning does the bus and shared cabs leave from Haridwar Station to Joshimath?

2. Can you please provide any contacts of reliable guides? Also, what are the guide rates?

Thanks in advance !

Bus Starts at 4.30 AM. Although there are a few newspaper cabs from 1 AM - 3 AM, no fixed time. Leave when they fill up.

Outside of Chardham yatra season, after 6.30-7, they start drying up. Beyond this, they run when passengers available. You can still be able to make the journey by breaking journey at Rudraprayag/ Karnaprayag, but there are chances of getting stuck at Karnaprayag in late afternoon.
