Our Dream Accommodation at Munsyari

I would like to share my wonderful experience during my stay at Munsyari. We luckily got information from one of our senior relatives regarding the man Mr Hem Chandra Pant, who has his own residence at Munsyari and rents four-six rooms to tourists on prior booking basis.

This place was according to me the best view point of Panch Chulli. One can sit at the rooftop for the whole day and seamlessly enjoy the beauty of Panchchulli. The owner, Mr Pant is an extremely well-behaved, soft-spoken, kind-hearted man who is always ready to please you. You just utter for any service, he is there with it. My mother, who is 67 felt sick due to cold, we were at that time enjoying a bonfire arranged by MrPant at the rooftop. This man on his own accord brought charcoal stove and put it in my mother's room and when I returned after sometime he was massaging my mother's feet to keep her warm.

This man also brought our food from a nearby stall, served us tea/coffee on demand, provided hot water for drinking as and when needed. In a nutshell he was there whenever needed.

His room rents are also very economical, I should say on the lower side, best option for budget travellers. His rooms are all full carpeted, with geyser and good toilet. Well furnished rooms with a large double bed and comfortable fresh qiults. The cleanliness is remarkable.

I am attaching some pictures taken from the rooftop of Mr Pant's house. This rooftop is only 8 steps from the road level.

He charged us Rs.400 for each room in 2007 Dec. Wasn't that cheap? when at the same time every other hotels were charging 600-1000.

Unfortunately not. But they were enough cosy and comfortable for a couple with a kid. Not big enough, not even too small.
