I am coming back from Mukteshwar right now and i must say i saw the himalayan panorama at its best. I am lucky.

The reason i am writing this post is that my luck started right above delhi. As i was to land in Delhi, i saw uttarakhand Himalayas from the window. It was so surprising and i didnít even know that i could see those peaks from Delhi
My luck continued as i saw the entire panorama again, from the pantnagar bound flight.
And then from Mukteshwar, Gagar etc.
From Delhi flight, i checked my compass just to be doubly sure, and they were indeed UK peaks and not Himachal etc as the compass pointed NE. Also from the distance, look, clustering and shape, i was pretty sure.

As for Trishul, I didnít pay close attention as i just included the text from original source where i had taken it from.
But pls note, Trishul will be on the right (from ND) from Chandrashila/Auli POV.
Yes, it is further right of Bethartoli and Devistan. Do see the link, it has the complete labelling of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary as seen from Chandrashila.

Saheb i saw you images. Will be good if you post them here also. Great effort by you and thank you for the link. I suppose evening from Chandrashila will be fine and the peaks will not become silhouettes.
Saheb, try to mark a panorama from southern side when you have time. Like from Kausani perhaps. From Mukteshwar, i could see many peaks this time than what is marked in a typical panorama. I couldnít identify many oeaks near Kamet. I could see Bandarpoomchh to dhaulagiri in Nepal. Amazing sight.

I came across a picture of Garhwal peaks (including Nanda Devi) from Roorkee !!
After some research, it seemed that they are indeed visible from Roorkee.
Did i tell you that i saw Garhwal peaks from Delhi in January, from a flight.
