| You can ask at Shiva Continental also: http://www.shivacon.com/shivacon/index.htm Don't recall where Amba is. I wud check with Broadway and Shiva and take the one which offers better rates. Mussoorie Jheel is a waste of time, specially since you'll see it from the road on the way up from Dehradun - that's enough. ![]() But I suppose GMVN has to throw something in for the tour, which is ok if you don't want to organise yourself. If you want to laze about, Gun Hill, Camel's Back road and the Mall are fine. |

| It's good you already have some hotels in mind, but Mussoorie is pretty quiet around Dec/Jan and so a lot of the hotels offer pretty deep discounts around that period. I'd recommend trying your luck by negotiating a bit with some of the nicer mid-range hotels around the mall once you arrive. You will probably find more than a few takers given your budget. Discounts of 50%+ are not unusual, especially on particularly slow days. |
