Monastery near Bageshwar/Baijnath
Hi..
During one of my previous visits to Kausani , I had been to this monastry whose name as well as the name of the place where it was located, I am not able to recall. All I can remember is that we got there from Bageshwar/Baijnath ( the temple where the Pandavas spent time during their exile or something to that effect. We were also shown a round stone which they claimed was Bhima's football. ). The monastery by itself does not really boast of anything much. But the location was beautiful. There were a couple of houses adjacent to the monastery almost sharing a common wall. I am planning to visit Kausani again and am really keen to visit this monastery as well.I would be most grateful if anyone could provide me any info on the same. Thanx very much! |
