Kolkata to Do Dham by car

I m planning for a trip to Kedar Bodri from Kolkata by self driven car ( Ritz, petrol) during Pujas ( oct 20-29 ).
Need help regarding road condition, safety.
I have done Kolkata to Darjeeling last year..
How much speed can i maintain after Haridwar to Do Dham?
Is the road like nainital ?

Wow! Now that is some trip.

Since you're coming from the east, you don't really need to go upto Haridwar (unless you want to visit the place), that would be a very long way. From Bareilly, you can just zip up through Kumaon to Karnprayag, via Haldwani-Bhawali-Ranikhet-Dwarahat-Gairsain. Then turn left or right, depending on where you want to go first.

Road conditions should be fine end-Oct (unless the monsoon turns out very heavy, have to wait and see). Average speed through the hills will be 30-35 km an hour.

I think you need to add more days, otherwise it'll be hectic & tiresome Kolkata-Garhwal-Kolkata) or hope you have atleast one who can drive also in your team
