Has any one come down from hill. can any body say about accomodation at kedarnath with contact details.

Start your day Very EArly say 3am every morning (all days) as the journey (you can rest yourself in the BUS) becomes somewhat tedious if you start after 8 am ---- REMEMBER everything there closes before 5 PM ... so you have to Utilise the Early Mornings Wisely for all your Trip days

You have 8 days at your disposal and you can very well do Gobind Ghat (snow) as well (which will take 2 days and its 28kms when you come down from Badrinath)



On the Travel downway you see lots of unpolluted beautiful places like Srinagar / New Tehri / everything is very very beautiful and green than KASHMIR or KERALA ...

There are plenty of direct buses, start very early in the morning 4am onwards, from all main bus stations / JEEP station ...Rishikesh / Badrinath / Gaurikhund etc .......You can also do a advance ticket booking for the early morning buses --- you will get the tickets even if you go directly to the Bus station early morning

Enjoy Kedarnath Snow stay for 1 more day to Relax ...... as the accomodation there is quite cheap and you get excellent rooms at Rs.150 - Rs.200 (Bargain well) with a Nice Quilt and Cots (with Hot Water facility)
