Some confusion here, rajat. When you said jungle path, I took it you meant just the last stretch, shortly after Dhaulchhina till almost the entry point for Binsar, about 12-14 km of true jungle path (kachcha road).

That indeed is Udiyari Bend in your pic. But surely you didn't mean jungle path all the way ? Which leads me also to ask - what was your route, via Seraghat/Dhaulchhina or via Bageshwar?

P.S. Not Shah Bhojnalaya, but the one opposite(?), Mahra. Ate there a coupla times. Looks to be the one in the 2nd pic (light blue board).
Shah is basically opposite the circle coming from Thal, right? I remember Hills View and checking out their rooms. That road in the first pic, isn't it the one to Chaukori?

Yes, you are absolutely right. The last stretch of the road was jungle path. I could not see a single vehicle in that route.
Route was through Tejam, Nachani, Thal.
Actually the roads we came from and towards binsar are not visible in the first picture. And the road visible in the picture is towards Chaukori.

That suggests you came via Seraghat/Dhaulchhina. If you remember Dhaulchhina bazar, a few km beyond would have been this jungle path, on your right.

That's what I was told by KMVN staff & a Car agency. Binsar was in my itinerary. I have never been to Binsar.

Binsar is higher than all the other places in your itinerary.
Ergo, it won't be too hot.

@bengaliengg, when is your train on D11 from KGM?
And you talked about expected harsh temperature in summers at Binsar. I guess the Binsar eco camp is at comparatively lower height (~7000 feet== 2133 mtr) and it may be hotter than Binsar hill top/ zero point area. However, I guess eco camp have better facilities in terms of electricity availability.

Nest & Wings map shows Dhaulchhina as 1650 m. The Eco Camp is just a bit higher.

Can one suggest a suitable place to stay for married couple at Kausani, Binsar & Mukteswar?
Have anyone been to Himalayan Resort Kausani or Snow Inn Kausani?
How is Mohan's Binsar Retreat & Kasar Jungle Resort?
