Hiring/Purchasing tent in Haridwar-Rishikesh
is there any place in rishikesh or haridwar that provides camping tent on hire or for sale? if yes any idea of the costs?

No idea about Haridwar, But you can hire from GMVN, Rishikesh.

GMVN's official rate is something around Rs. 70-80 per day, they have 2 men, 4 men and Mess tents also, but you need to pay around Rs. 2500 as refundable security.....
You may check exact rent on their website... |

are the rates constanct for 2 men/4 men/mess tents or do they vary. we are looking for a 4 men tent. whats there website address? cheers |

hey i went through the site and it says 150 rs per day rent for a 4 men tent + 2891 rs security. once we go there should we bargain or take the tents at the rate offered?
do we need to book the tents in advance or will it be available on the day of our arrival |

May be they have increased the rates....
You will get the tents when you go... There are some private operators too... |
