Chardham on bike.So you'll be carrying your bike right upto Kedarnath on donkey or mule lol.I suggest you better do the yatra the way most do it,i.e.
by bus, shared transport or hiring full vehicle, else take the GMVN lousy package tour in May-June every year.

The list can be long, and this is already found on many threads/forums under the list of things for leh.

My suggestion is apart from your basic clothing do not take too many things, travel light.
  • Documents and paperwork of your bike
  • Take your tools and your ride gear.
  • Take ropes and plastic to cover your luggage, plan for rainy days.
  • Medicines and first aid kit.
  • Dry fruits to snack on in case you are stuck somewhere
  • Check out fuel pump locations and if you need to carry fuel in any place- in case carry the containers.
Most importantly - know your bike and its porblems, prepare it for the long journey.
Bike rides - Kashmir to Leh and Sikkim, Jungle safaris - Corbett,Chikhaldara, Kanha and Gorumara. Traveled through MP, Himachal, J&K, Maharashtra, W.Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Goa, Karnataka, AP . . . Yet feel so New to traveling in India.

Rahul, I didn't mean that you carry the bike on your shoulders upto Kedarnath lol but the very idea of chardham on bike to me seems a bit too wierd.

I guess you need to first tickle the guy on his post and look for his response, before falling silent

I hope I don't appear too naughty in doing what I do best

i have done couple of rides on Bikes as a pillion, very recent been Badrinath-Mana..
have noticed lots of breakdowns and repairs so on long routes one needs to carry all essential spares and spanners which includes clutch wire, race wire, head bulb, bungee cords, oil, clutch plate, break shoe, chain lock etc and technical knowledge of repairs...
traveling on bikes is definitely fun and adventure but needs lots of care and senses...
