haridwar Rishikesh badri Vridavan

Dear friends, I'm new to IndiaMike. need your help..

We three(me, my mother of 65 and my freind) are starting for haridwar on 10th Oct. details:

10th oct howrah kumbha express
11th oct reach haridwar in evening
12th haridwar stay and local tour
13th haridwar to rishikesh and local tour
14th rishikesh whole day local tour
15th rishikesh to joshimath and nightstay or direct badri???
16th joshimath to badrinath , puja and back to joshimath or any idea??
17th from joshimath or(??) to haridwar
18th haridwar to mathura /night stay vrindavan
19th Vrindavan local tour
20th vrindavan to delhi and take train for howrah
21st oct howrah


My question is for 15th to 16th what would be the best plan for badrinath, want to back to haridwar on 17th. where could i stay inbetween if not in joshimath?


where to stay in vrindavan (budget hotel)?

Pls give me some name (if possible)of hotel/ashram at Hor ki pauri ghat.

Any other suggestion most welcome...

check threads at the bottom of this page and to the right for badri kedarnath. check for Vrindavan in U.P. forum.

although that is for Raman Reti area where Iskcon is, while I recommend to go for an old-town guesthouse near old Gaudiya temples; more difficult to locate and pre-book though, but much nicer atmosphere and sights.

While checking on the above mentioned guesthouse list for Vrindavan myself just now, I found this guesthouse mentioned, which is in the area that I recommend, the old town around Loi Bazar

I have not seen it, but would go for that. Then attend arati at Radha-Raman and/or Radha-Damodar. And do not miss to visit Radha-Gokulananda (just a few steps from Radha-Raman, to the left down the lane, when you are facing main entrance of Radha-Raman).

is it possible?

day 1 go to joshimath and stay
day 2 joshi to badri and go to ukhimath/chopta stay
day 3 trek to tunganath and back to rishikesh same day

no need to reply my last post #10. got my answer from other threads. its impossible..
