Good place to hang out in Hardiwar?
I hope I am posting this in the right place. I am not so familiar with all the regions in India.
Anyone know of a good place to hang out in Hardiwar. I have a fantasy about myself sitting at a window in a beautiful hotel cafe or bar looking out on the Ganges with a freshly ground coffee and some fancy Indian pastries. I will be there on New Years Eve or New Years day so am looking for something special.

The most dfficult thing will be to find a good freshly ground cafe in Haridwar (well, I can say in all India). There are hotels with great views over the Ganges. Hotel Osho is just over the Hari Ki Pairi Ghat at the place where "aarti" is performed every evening. There are other hotels well located.
