Gangotri - Gomukh in August

Hi I am planning for a trip to Gangotri - Gomukh and back on 15th August.

How the weather will be?

Being a rainy season will the roads be open?

Any guidance on this will be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Will be rainy, but roads will be open (if not, will be opened by DGBR/BRO/PWD).

I would say go for it. There will be rain but it is managable, last 2-3 years there have been rains as late as sept end. Carry rain gear - like poncho or something similar
