Question Foreigners Permit for Kedarnath,Badrinath,Tunganth, VOF & Hemkund Sahib

Dear all,

Please let me know, if there are any special permits to be made for a foreign national to see the above mentioned places in Uttarkhand .If so, what and where is it needed to be made ?

Also, is it allowed for foreigners to enter the temple premises of all the above ? Can a foreign national be allowed accomodation in Hemkund Sahib like Indians do?

I am sorry if I sound too silly above,but just needed to know about things,if any.

Thanking you all in advance.

I am not sure about all areas; but Kedarnath and Badrinath is NOT in the restricted zone and all nationals should be able to visit without any permit.

Thanks a lot for the confirmation sks551. I wonder if Hem Kund Sahib,Valley of Flowers & Chandrasila trek fall under any category that might require some prior permission for foreign nationals;

Thanking you all in advance for any response to this.
