Hi
This being a long week-end, i am planing to do some water rafting in Rishikesh. I understand that the one starting from Kodiala is better than the one from Shivpuri. It runs for about 30KMs. Have you guys tried the same? Also any recommendations on agency with which i can hookup. I have like 2 days, so want to do something where i camp right next to small sand beaches by the ganges... Btw, anyone of u doing the same this week-end? ![]() |

My daughter goes every year from her office. They stay at a place called Strawberry farms. Tented accomodation on a pristine beach. A bit pricey but damn good place.

What a time
Another turning point;
a fork stuck in the road. Time grabs you by the wrist; directs you where to go. So make the best of this test and don't ask why. It's not a question but a lesson learned in time. It's something unpredictable but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life. So take the photographs and still frames in your mind. Hang it on a shelf In good health and good time. Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial. For what it's worth, it was worth all the while. It's something unpredictable but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life. |

Yesterday i came back from rafting camp http://www.gio.in at Jayalgarh 25km from devprayag.
Stayed there for two nights. Paid 4500- per person. Food,rafting and other activities were included. Food was delicious. But it was very hot luckily there was some rain on tues, wed but on thurs. it became too hot. You can't stay in tent during day. Its peak season so better go with advance booking. |

The traditional water rafting in Rishikesh is Shivpuri, some of our rafters did it from Kodiala and found it exciting.
