Any information / tips on safe accommodation for woman travelling alone, staying in Varanassi from mid-September to mid-November. Air conditioning essential. Would prefer family-based accommodation to hotel type.

Also, looking for lessons in Hindi in Varanasi during that time period?

Their are a lot of home stays in varanasi and it all depends on your budget, right from 100/= rs a day to a couple of thousands.
