Uttar Pradesh + Uttaranchal: Delhi, Varanasi to Darjeeling- other places of interest?

Hi!

I'm departing Delhi on approx 18th October this year, traveling to Varanasi obviously, then hoping to go on to Darjeeling.

These places are standard and well traveled, I was wondering if people knew of any other towns, sights along the way that I could stop of at...I have approximately 11 days in between Delhi and Darjeeling...

You may visit Lucknow, Bodh Gaya, Chunar.
