Tour to varanasi, sarnath etc

I am
I am wanting to tour varanasi, Sarnath, Chunar, Vindhyachal, Allahabad from Kolkata in coming months. Anyone may suggest how I can travel those places cheaply. Also if anyone have ideas of bus-routes & budget hotels that will help me a lot.

The cheapest and most comfortable way to travel is via train. SL(sleeper class) will be even cheaper then taking a bus generally. Please check out the excellent train information http://www.indiamike.com/india/indian-railways-f10/

For cheap hotels see the Hotels section of the websites. You will find recommendations and price listing for many hotels.
