well, tons valley is more scenic. and i guess rafting is done around mori (which falls on the route to har ki doon). not sure of how to make the arrangemebnts. maybe, you can ring up gmvn mori and ask them.

Tons is less crowded, and I agree it's very scenic.

Last I was there, there were 4 camps, incuding Great Indian Outdoors and Aquaterra. Check their websites and email them.

AB - there's no GMVN at Mori. Purola and Hanol are the nearest.

hi,
indeed tons valley is good for rafting, some good grade rapids in river tons...it's my Personal Opinion, that if u r first timer so try in ganga first and then tons...cos in gnga lots of good stretches i.e. bhrampuri (2hrs), shivpuri(3 1/2hrs), marindrive (4 1/2 hrs), kaudeyala (5 1/2hrs)etc.... and i dont think, any private companies organising camping and rafting in tons valley now a days.. cos apr-may is peak season for rafting companies in Ganga..and if ur going rishikesh for rafting in weekend so need to book in advence.. now a days cost is 1500/-Rs. to 3000/-Rs. per person per nyt...
