New Year's Eve in Lucknow???
Hi everyone, I must admit, if I were planning my ideal itinerary and carefully considering the prospect of seeing in the new year somewhere I doubt it would be Lucknow.
Now, the city looks charming enough, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Lucknow. But what to do there on New Year's Eve, whilst between train trips, is a question I'm hoping a few IMers can help me to answer. I'm neither the nightclubbing nor raver type, although somewhere pleasant to celebrate the New year with my adult daughter would be very nice. It's our first trip together back to India since she was a child, so it would be something of a special occasion. Just a few drinks after dinner in a tourist-friendly place, preferably the place to stay as well, is what I'm looking for. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance. ![]() |
