help; corbett to agra via moradabad?

hi, we're right now in ramnagar-corbett national park. we plan to go to agra but there doesn't seem to be a train anymore. is it possible to do the trip by bus via moradabad? Moradabad is 2.5 hours from here, but are there busses from there to agra? or better go back over delhi? any experiences or advice highly appreciated

No idea about buses.

Train 5014A departs Ramnagar daily at 21:30 and gets to (old) Delhi station at 04:40. (2A, SL.)

That should be enough time to get the Shatabdi from New Delhi, or the Taj Express from Nizamuddin.

Hi, agreed with steven_ber as it's best way to reach Agra from Ramnagar.

thanks for that, but we have taken the bus to moradabad -the arsehole of the world as it has been described on this forum, was not thatbad really -, stayed there overnight and then took a bus to Aligarh, and from there a bus to Agra, another two hours. Total journey time was 8 hours.

you mentioned you stayed in moradabad and I wanted to get some more info from you if I could. I have an indian friend living there and was thinking of visiting her but was wondering if there are any hotels or other traveler amenities there? what did you find? thanks!

i think a train via Delhi is a better idea, specially if you are not indian.
there are lots of buses from Moradabad to Agra. if you cant see a direct bus, catch a bus to aligarh and then take a bus to Agra there.

condition of UP roadways buses wasn't great when i was there, but now my brother has told me that they have improved a lot. you may get a aircon bus also.
