English cemetery Allahabad

Does anyone know if there is a cemetery from the Raj era days for the English in Allahabad, and if so ,where it is? Thanks

Was in Allahabad last month and visited what I was told was the oldest church in India. Someone there could probably direct you to the place. While staying with an old friend near Mirzapore was told about the graves of a couple of Raj era youngsters who died during the mutiny. Didn't get to see the site myself but was told it's very run down and will probably soon disappear completely.

Google Maps shows a large Old Christian Cemetery in the north of Allahabad. Muir Road passes the northern boundary of the cemetery. I think this would be the civilian cemetery.

The British Association for Cemeteries in South Asia, BACSA, has a website in which their books and booklets about Indian cemeteries are listed. I did not see anything online for Allahabad but their archives may have something. See www.bacsa.org.uk/
