Diwali in Lucknow

I'm a little confused with regards to Diwali.

I've read that Diwali is a 5 day festival does that mean it starts on the 28th or that's the climax to the festival

Does this also mean that museum etc will be closed & if so what date/dates.

No, the public holiday will be only one day.
