Buses and taxis from saharanpur to Haridwar
Are there buses or taxis from Saharanpur to Haridwar. If yes, how long does it take to reach Haridwar from Saharanpur by bus or taxi? Are these buses frequently available?

taxi available from station campus and there are buses to Haridwar/Rishikesh .........it'll take 3/4 hrs

Saharanpur Bus Stand is just opposite Railway Station. You get buses to Haridwar every half an hour. Travel time is around 3 hours.

Thanks a lot for the information. Please tell me until which time of the evening/night buses are available. Are they available till 8 or 9 pm? Are there luxury buses? Do the buses start from Saharanpur bus station or they just pass through Saharanpur coming from some other place? I need to know because if the buses start frolm Saharanpur, I will most probably get seats while getting seats in passing buses may be difficult. How much is the fare if I hire a taxi?

These buses start from Saharanpur. But you can get buses coming from Chandigarh/Ambala/Kurukshetra/Himachal also, as they also have to pass through Saharanpur for Haridwar.
These are Ordinary buses.
Taxi should charge Rs. 2500 or so. But buses are available till 9 PM and even late also.

off topic: think you are planning to go Haridwar/Garhwal from Kolkata........why not drop at Najibabad instead of Saharanpur......it'll be best and 1hrs road journey
