Its been a while since my first post but I should mention that I really enjoyed the course.

The location is very pretty, on the banks of the Ganges at Kaudiyala, right next to the Daniel's Dip, a grade 4 rapid. The log huts provided by GMVN are much better than the tented accomodation that the other rafting companies give.

Apart from the first day which mostly consists of training, the other 4 days of the course involve rafting the entire stretch of the river from Devprayag to Rishikesh. We did all the rapids, including a well known grade 4 called 'the Wall'.

I would say its a great way to spend 5 days ,in a relatively inexpensive way. Unfortunately, there was a dam in construction right before Kaudiyala,so its better done before the dam completes.
