rishikesh rentals longterm?

Hey all! headed to Rishikesh for a long-term stay (4+ months) and I'm hoping to rent either an apartment or house nearish all the yoga action. (I mean, the high bank is fun and all, but I don't think I can handle four months of bedbugs.)

I want a place with all the mod-cons (by which I mean furnished, with a kitchen, and internet would rock but is negotiable). Where should I look? Any ideas as to what I should expect to pay?

I vaguely remember a friend stayed in a really nice place just walking distance from the lower bridge, a complex of furnished, pretty, balconied apartments...any info on those would be nice, but really any info at all would be helpful.

Thanks all!

We saw a nice place when we were in Rishikesh in March. It's called Baba Kali Kamli close to Vedniketan. Around 300 rupees per night but foreigners can only stay November to March. Other times it's for locals. Good luck!

That is the Vanaprasth Ashram (not really an Ashram, but called that way) at Swargashram. That is fully booked in the hot season, but available and rented out Nov-March.
