Ok , here is the number.
Bhagchand Ramta - 09968215237
Just let him know that Rakesh Ranjan gave your number.

He is son of Jakhol Village Sarpanch, and has a good knowledge of that area.

WE are a group trekking to Rupin Pass this June.

1. Could anyone give us the route to reach Naitwar from D'dun.

2. Approximately how long does it take (with stoppages) if we take a Sumo from D'dun to Naitwar?

3. Can we do D'dun to Dhaula in one day (break at Naitwar) with a combination of Sumo and local jeeps?

4. Anyone with contact numbers of any Sumo drivers/taxi's in Dehradun?

Arjun

When you reach D'dun you will get pre-paid taxis till purola, charge is Rs 1800 for a ambassador. From purala catch a shared jeep till Mori (30 KM), then from Mori to Naitwar again shared Jeep (20 KM approx).

Thanks so much for the info. Any ideas how much Sumo's charge for the same trip. And how much do shared jeep charge from Mori to Naitwar?

Thanks so much. You really have a back of the hand knowledge of these places.

Do you think it is possible to get a Sumo to drive us all the way to Dhaula from D'dun? Or are there any permit issues for them?
