Hey! Anyone knows the numbers to the GMVN in Lansdowne?
Looking up their website and I haven't found it. Will I be able to get a booking for the next weekend if I call today?
I hope I do! I have already booked my train tickets!
Numbers to Fairy Dale will also be welcome!

Here's the number of GMVN, Lansdowne. In other words, the one puchoo gave right above.

I have to caution though that at best they can take a non-binding booking. Meaning, let's say they have a room free next week, but between now and then they get binding bookings (with money deposited) from their other offices for all the rooms, that's it, you'll be left high and dry. If you want a binding booking, you'll have to deposit the money at their Delhi office. Or you can book online by CC.

i'm headed to Lansdowne and Pauri next weekend for a 3 day trip.. staying at the GMVN place in Pauri on saturday and sunday and at the GMVN Lansdowne on monday.. i have a fair idea of the "to-do"s in Lansdowne from the previous posts [although i ususally end up walking around aimlessly armed with my camera and missing the popular spots in the process ] ..was wondering if anybody could suggest a 2 day itinerary for Pauri.. Thanks !

See posts 6,7,9 and 10 in this thread.

If you have time left over you can take a bus or jeep to Khirsu and have a look around.

P.S. If you don't get any direct transport from Pauri to Khirsu, go to Buwakhal, you'll get something from there.

Back from lansdowne

I had a very nice time in Lansdowne this past weekend. The GMVN's were full up though I called to book more than 2 weeks in advance. I got a room in Fairy Dale and stayed there.
More detailed trip report to come. Attaching a few snaps.
Thanks for all your help!
