Jhansi Cemetery photo shoot

John Kendall has done a superb job of cataloguing and posting my shoot of the British Cemetery in the Jhansi Cantonment. Dunno if anyone's interested, but here it is:

I'm familiar with John's site, but was unaware about your Jhansi contribution. Thanks for the info.

Nice photos, Bij. Would be nice for someone to refurbish that graveyard, as is occasionally done over here and in Europe.

Then maybe you won't think one of our hobbies so odd......
Recording tombstone testaments.....
One of our favorites is from a child's grave at that beautiful little church in the woods outside of McLeod Ganj--St. John's.

Weep not my mother, weep not: I am blest.
But must leave heaven if I return to thee.
For I am where the weary are at rest,
The wicked cease from troubling; come to me.

Thanks for sharing. I have sort of a morbid (?) interest in cemetaries. The cenotaphs in Bundi were wonderful.
