Is It Possible to make a trip to Badrinath From Haridwar in 4 days by going alone.

Hi folks,

Actually I want to make a trip of New Delhi – Badrinath – New Delhi. I have only 4 days ( 15th , 16th, 17th, 18th of August). I should be back to Delhi on 19th of August. Can I make the trip comfortably in a 4 days? Moreover I want to stay overnight in Badrinath. Is it possible?. I am not going in a group. I am alone. So Can I go alone. And is it more expensive if I go alone.
Could please guide me with proper travel plan and the place to visit according my availablity of time. Can I get proper transportation other than Govt. Buses (Like Cars or Travera…..etc.).

Note: I will reach Haridwar on 15th of August at 4.30AM. So my source is Haridwar. ie. Haridwar - Badrinath - Delhi

Plz help in this regard.

15th. Haridwar-Rudraprayag
16th. Rudraprayag-Badrinath
17th. Begin your return journey.
Keep one day free in case you get delayed by land slides.
You can hire a cab of your choice at Haridwar or Rishikesh for the tour.

Looks possible:

Aug 15 - HDW to Joshimath
Aug 16 - Joshimath to BAdrinath
Aug 17 Badrinath towards Haridwar - you can stop somewhere in between
Aug 18 Reach haridwar and leave for Delhi

The only issue here is that in August you are likely to see landslides and therefore delays and you don have a reserve day for them.

Yes all kinds of cars can be hired from HDW.
