Idea About Patal Bhubaneshwar
hello frnds....
i will be visiting nainital on 13th oct and kaushani on 16th oct. has anyone got the idea that how i can manage my tour to patal bhubaneshwar within one day ( night stay in naini or kaushani)( go and come back within 24 hrs)....... if it is not possible frm this places what will be the good centre for patal bhubaneshwar ? |

There's a Government Rest House there. I haven't been there in 10 years so may be others now.
 www.kmvn.org will help some. They have the Rest House info and digital maps with milages. Also, http://www.patalbhuvaneshwar.com/ Gangolihat, 15 km. from there is the nearest big town. I also stayed there a night. What I remember is that it was nothing special. I would stay at Patal if given a choice. It's nice and quiet in Patal with hardly anyone around. I had the place all to myself when I visited. |

Second EOS. Make Chaukori the base.
Hell, skip Kausani altogether. Chaukori is better (though Kausani can grant you some good views, too) |
