Weather Updates

Hi,
We are leaving for Ooty in June first week, what will be the nature of weather at that time ..

Also should we take woolen clothes ??

Light woolens at best.

Unless it rains (too soon, I think?), ooty may actually be warm during the day.

How about rains? today I was reading TOI it said Monson officially arrived in Mangalore , withon 6 days it will reach Bangalore ..How about ooty?

I guess it can rain but not continuously or heavily, at least not in the beginning of the monsoon, I think.

The weathermen are saying that the recent cyclone has thrown the monsoon system out of gear a bit- one thing a revolving storm does is suck out the moisture from the surroundings, so maybe you will be lucky.

Rains may just add to the fun, though.

That's the worst part! If it rains heavily, it will wash out all the dirt and muck and leave the town clean. But the incessant drizzle and occassional downpour can leave the place very slushy and damp and make commuting a nightmare!

But then again, it all depends on one's attitute. It is possible to enjoy the dreary weather too if your mid is tuned to it!
