Recommendation on Hotel in Ooty

Hi,

I am travelling to Ooty for 3 days aroudn 23rd of this month. Any recommendations on good hotel within the budget of Rs 1000/day?? I dont mind staying a bit away from the town as I am driving on my own.

Hi Jyoti,

You could try out :

1) Hotel TTDC[ Government of Tamilnadu] which is just in charring cross in a Small hillet and you can find the review in our "Hotels" section

OR

2) Hotel Mayura [Government of Karnataka] . This is a bit far from city [ 4 kms +].. The views from this hotel is just awesome and it faces the Glenmore Estate.This property will look like a Bit secluded ... If you want to reach this hotel, this is the driving directions :

After you touch ooty , take the "Lake road" , Ride straight after the boat jetty and take first left and drive straigth and after 2 kms , you will find this property in the right hand side !. We went in June 2008 without any reservations and it's Full !.

Both are budget / Nice / safe ones

Yunum(Aborted), Roopkund, Junargali pass, Ronti Saddle.
