Ooty to Vythiri travel
Hi again,
What are the options for travelling from ooty to vythiri. Is there any bus available or should we hire a private car? And how much time would it take? I am planning to stay in the vythiri resort. |

I am a Nilgiri person but I have no idea! What is Vythiri? Is that a town?
Maybe you should be a bit more specific! edit: I have just google and seen it is Wayanad! Yes there are busses, but of course a cab is better! I have no idea what your budget is! |

Hi Bhusan,
There are around 2 to 3 Direct buses a Day from ooty to Calicut Which goes Via Vythiri [ First bus Starts around 6 am from ooty bus stand] but the bus will be 3 + 2 Kind of with no push-back and might be uncomfortable also. You may hire a cab as that 100 km stretch from ooty to Vythiri Will be highly scenic and also you can explore Gudalur , Soochipara Waterfalls and Chembara peak on the way ! Velu |
