we are visiting ooty with family

for 2 days

on 29 and 30 th august

do you guys think that it will be very cool ?

will it be still raining there ?

do we need woolens ?

also is it worth visiting kodaikanal after visiting ooty

Ooty in August? Be prepared for rain. Take woolens of course (it's 7500 ft). Kodaikanal is a much nicer place but if traveling from Ooty, be prepared for a long ride (260 kms).

Rounak, July is typically the peak rainy season in ooty and I was there right in the middle of that month. Was of course really cold that time but certainly manageable.

August end - rains should be a lot lesser though you can expect some drizzle here and there. Carry basic woolens and wrap yourself under the rug your hotel provides you. That should do
