Off the beaten track in and around Coonoor

Guys, I'll be visiting Coonoor during first weekend of May. I am least interested to visit those 'regular' tourist spots and keen on exploring off the beaten tracks. Would appreciate if you could help me here. Thanks in advance!

Cheers

You can do some lovely short walks around Lovedale and Kundah. They are relatively lot less touristy.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the travel plan due to some 'stupid' work Alas! It's 3AM and I'm still glued to the laptop ... Weird!

Sorry to hear about your trip. But thought this would help future travelers. Check out this place called Rallia Dam, on the Coonoor - Kotagiri Highway. A very scenic and beautiful picnic spot and off track. You should also check out Kotagiri and Kodanad areas. The Rangasami Pillar hills is amazing and a good trekking option.
