goa-ooty first week in may

hi can anyone tell me what its like in ooty in the first week of may?gtting really hot here in goa now and need some cooler weather
also somewhere to stay when i get there i am going on a volvo bus i think !
somewhere comfortable but cheap
what are the best times to visit here
are there any tourists in may ?

Very crowded for sure. Warm in the daytime, pleasant at night. Choose a hotel very far away from the main town and tourist areas.

Was there in Feb end, and the days were getting hot already. Would not expect the weather to be good. Crowded, definitely.

Ooty in May is always crowded, especially weekends. Weather is moderately warmer during the month with the temperature dipping to the mid teens in the evenings. Folks from the plains will definitely find the evenings colder and may need sweaters or warmer clothing.
