Coimbatore - ooty - coorg - bangalore

Hello friends,

I am not much of a traveler, frankly never got a chance.

I have planned a trip with my parents to Ooty and Coorg. I will be landing in Coimbatore at around 10 am and planning to leave for ooty in about 2 hours on 30th June.

How much time will it take to reach ooty from coimbatore (via car)??

Staying in ooty for 2 nights, 30th and 1st and then we plan to leave for coorg. Please give me various options that i can visit.. My parents are with me , so please be considerate

Some major issues we have here is.. should we hop through mysore ? How is the transport from ooty to coorg? What are the options? in case we do not have our own car, can we hire one from ooty ? I have heard there is a national park worth visiting on the way from ooty to coorg ? what about that ? Also, is the travel any dangerous ? I am visiting in monsoon season .

Then after i reach coorg, i am staying in slub mahindra hotel. I want to know what all places we should go visit in coorg to make it memorable. staying in coorg for 2 nights 2nd and 3rd and 4th morning checking out and planning to go to bangalore from there.
Again how is the transport? road? safety? any place to visit in middle?

Bangalore we plan to rest and have an early morning flight next day back home .

Awaiting for a reply .

Regards

ooty from kovai - 21/2 hours
options = connoor is more beautiful than ooty.. many internet sites gives the information about sight seeing places in ooty...
DO NOT MISS THE TOY TRAIN FROM METTUPALAYAM = CONOOR = OOTY..
FROM OOTY TO COORG THE ONLY WAY IS VIA MYSORE yeah as long as you can bear the rental car cost you can hire a car from ooty to coorg.
on the way there is bandipur and mudumalai wild life sanctuaries..travel is safe .. and travel not allowed in the night..beware of elephants crossing the road.
