I was planning on 9th Aug'12. Want to see VOF in full bloom since my purpose if photography and of course the beautiful nature.
Have not confirmed yet with YHAI since not sure if their kind of trek meets my requirement.
Large group, school like timetables etc. Was looking for a more relaxed one.
Has anyone been on the YHAI VOF trek before (its the 7th year running as per the brochure) - your views would be appreciated specially on the accommodation provided and the group strength.

The participants would be required to follow the schedule and discipline of the YHAI during the camping & trekking.

You would not be allowed to break the group! And yes, there would be a fixed time table which would be mandatory to be followed!!

Hmmm.. That gives a fair idea of the YHAI treks.
Hows the accommodation ? Read some where on IM that you need to rush in to get your place inside a good tent

You been on the YHAI VOF trek before ?

The conditions of tents remain good as the organizers discard torn tents.

The YHAI never overbooks a group, hence you need not rush. But I feel comfortable if am placed in the middle of tent.

Sorry, I have never been to this trek organized by YHAI.

Easier would be to follow this link and this link for detailed information and programme as it is a State level programme.
