Which trek would you most like to do?

Hello seasoned trekkers

Ive just set up this thread for my own interest, im planning to either do one big trek or a couple of smaller ones in india, and wondering where you would choose to go out of these places:

Sikkim
Uttaranchal
Zanskar
Spiti
Nubra

Im leaning towards zanskar, like im sure a lot of people would, you know, super hardcore trekking, ancient lost kingdoms, out of this world rock formations and all that jazz. But id love an opinion from someone thats trekked in these places and can tell me where they would most like to go, and the treks that they would do.

Thanks a lot amigos

Which month have you chosen for your trek. Choice of destination depends a lot on the season. If it is spring I would suggest Sikkim for the riot of colors of the flowers.

Not so much advice on a trek as advice on getting there:

I was in Ladakh last summer, and intended to go to Zanskar. I was told there were frequent buses from Kargil to Padum, but when I got to Kargil I found the next bus wasn't for 5 days - anyone who has been to Kargil will know why staying there for that time was not a fun proposition!!

My recommendation is that you should find out what day the buses go from Leh to Padum, and get one of those, rather than getting off the Leh to Srinagar bus and hoping you'll be lucky.
