Nag Tibba - May 12th to 16 (may be 24-28 May)
Located in the Garhwal Himalaya straddling the UttarkashiDistt and the Mussourie area, Nag Tibba is just a few feet short of the magical 10,000ft asl mark! The mountain’s mixed forest of Deodar and Oak hosts a variety of bird and wild life. Nag Tibba also has an association with Heinrich Harrier when he escaped from a prisoner-of -war camp in Dehradun and he writes about this in his book “Seven Years In Tibet”. One gets a peek into the rich Garhwali Culutre and architecture while walking through some villages on parts of the trail and also a peek into a bygone mythological era of the Mahabharat, the famous Indian Epic of the war between the Kauravas and the Pandavas.
